Five friends pursue a thief into Chernobyl, uncovering dark secrets that challenge their trust and survival instincts.

Pasha's parents leave for Turkey for a couple of weeks leaving a lot of money at home. Pasha and his friend Lyosha arrange a crazy party at Pasha's home. In the morning after a party, Igor, a mysterious representative of the Internet company, appears in the apartment and steals all the money. Friends turn to the police but after realizing that this doesn't help, they go in search of the robber by themselves. Having tracked him on the Internet, the guys find his video blog and find out that he is going to Chernobyl.
On their way to Chernobyl, the guys are witnessing a terrible accident, they trying to save the only survivor and took him to the nearest road cafe which looks suspiciously empty. Looking through the recordings from the car's DVR, the guys realize that returning to the cafe was not the best idea. Meanwhile, a mysterious black jeep continues to chase them.
At the intersection of the Ukrainian border, Lyosha substitutes the others and escapes in consequence of which guys got arrested. But thanks to Nastya's ingenuity, they got to "ghost town" Pripyat. Igor is not there, the guys found his motorcycle, some of the money and a disk with a record. Not finding Igor, the guys decide to go back but very soon realize that Igor was right and there really is no way out. Anya explains to Pasha why she went to Pripyat with them.
Having woken up in the morning, friends understand that Anya disappeared. Going to find her, they stumble upon a gang of armed mentally ill hunters who brought them back to Pripyat and definitely going to hunt not for animals. Meanwhile, terrible things begin to happen in Pripyat. Exact copies of people (phantoms), through which they communicate with lost Pripyat travelers, begin to drive friends from the mind, appearing out of nowhere and trying to get them into a death trap.
The guys find Anya on the top cradle of the Ferris wheel that stopped in 1986. The girl was brought to the wheel by her elder sister on the very day of her mysterious disappearance. The guys begin to hear terrible cries coming from the forest. Deciding that this is Igor, they go to the forest to find a guy but they find absolutely unimaginable things that eventually lead them to a secret bunker.
Five youths chase after a man who has stolen 8 million rubles from them. The man reveals on his video blog his intention to travel to Chernobyl. With every kilometer, the heroes' journey becomes more dangerous and confusing.
