Ivana is a popular therapist, in addition to specializing in a marriage counseling, she's also the author of popular self-help books, she prepares to appear on a television show. Veljko closes a large construction deal with a help from the investment of the dubious investor Zvonimir Crnogorac Crni. Marina gets fired from the restaurant where she works, but her situation improves when her husband calls her and the children to come to Zagreb. Joco proposes to Petra, but he's concerned how his daughter Una, who is studying acting in Sarajevo, will accept the engagement.
After Veljko's confession, chaos ensues in the restaurant. Jakov leaves in revolt, and Nika follows him in order not to do something stupid. At the house, the surprise awaits Joco and Una - Petra has moved in. Particularly Una is unpleasantly surprised, and gets even more upset, when she learns the news. Una and Miro realize that they switched suitcases at the airport, so Una, after getting upset with her father, looks for Miro and goes to return his suitcase, but they end up making out. Ivana invites Marina to spend the night, since Lea is sick, and throws Veljko out from the house. Crni wants Petra back and he tells her, he bought a house for her. Petra decides to see Crni for one last time, but declines the house offer. The doctor confirms Veljko's fatal diagnosis and Veljko is ready to give more bad news to his family. Marina and Ivana are convinced there is a third wife somewhere. The betrayed wives form a plan. After the night of drinking, drunk Jakov sits behind the wheels and Una joins him, when Miro texts her to come back. Jakov causes a crash leaving Una being unconscious.
After making a shocking confession to Slaven, Veljko notices a suspicious man following him. He and Slaven decide to chase after him, and Veljko realizes that Crni's threats against him and his family were no bluff. Meanwhile, after the accident, Jakov and Una are rushed to the hospital. Una's condition is critical, and she is taken into emergency surgery. Joco and Petra arrive at the hospital, where they learn that the hit-and-run was caused by an unknown driver who fled the scene. Joco vows to avenge his daughter-unaware that it was Petra behind the wheel. Terrified, Petra panics as she hides the truth. Marina and Ivana's relationship grows strained, just as journalists arrive for an interview Ivana has completely forgotten about. Overwhelmed, Petra calls Crni for help.
Petra meets with Crni and asks him to get her out of the trouble she's in and to get rid of the car. Crni hesitates, unsure whether to help her. Veljko quarrels with Jakov, who still refuses to speak with him, and he also fails to calm the furious Ivana, who blames him for everything that has gone wrong. Joco learns that Jakov drove under the influence and reacts violently, forcing Veljko to step in and prevent him from hurting his son. Meanwhile, Miro crosses paths with Petra. At the same time, Marina frantically searches for Vili, while Zrinka alerts the police that Marina has disappeared with her nephew. In the hospital, Una finally awakens from surgery. On the rooftop, Jakov finds himself on the edge, but his half-brother Miro arrives just in time to save him.
Veljko comes to pick up Lea and Marina at the police station and, after the argument in front of the police officer, he takes them to the hotel. It is difficult for him to part with his daughter. Veljko goes to stay with Slaven, who is not that happy about his arrival. Veljko tells him about the plan to save him from Crni's blackmail. Upon arriving to the house, Joco realizes that Una's new car has been stolen, just as Petra discovers that all of her clothes is missing too. Petra knows it's all Crni's doing. Miro visits Una in the hospital, but they are interrupted by Jakov. Ivana throws all of Veljko's belongings into a rubbish bags out of the house. Ivana's patients find her in a state of chaos, and she has to continue the therapy in such a distracted state, especially when she sees an article written about her own marriage. Veljko returns the money to Crni as he wants nothing to do with him anymore, but Crni won't hear it. Veljko gets the tip on Petra's hit and run car being gone, but ultimately he sees the car stashed in Crni's yard. Veljko is convinced now that Crni tried to kill his son.
