Jin Sun-mi, as a young girl she can see what others can't. She befriends two what she believes to be fairies, Son Oh-gong and Woo Hwi-chul, which in real are an old god and a demon, she strucks a deal with the demon to get a contract with the god to protect her from the monsters she sees, tricked by the mischievous god he steels her memory of his name leaving her alone in a world full of evil to fend for herself. Jin Sun-mi meets them again in the future and much to her dislike she is taken by the spirited Son Oh-gong and yearns for his protection. What she don't know is, that he is as dangerous as he is charming. Woo Hwi-chul is doing his best to protect her from both himself and his rival Son Oh-gong.
Jin Seon Mi goes to get help from Woo Ma Wang by going up on stage and performing. He agrees to help her with Son Oh Gong but it will involve them tricking him into wearing a magical bracelet since he will not help her willingly. In the meantime Jin Seon Mi and Lee Han Joo are looking at an apartment that they believe has a supernatural problem when Jin Seon Mi disappears. Lee Han Joo informs Son Oh Gong when he comes to Jin Seon Mi's office and Gong rushes out to look for her.
After O-Gong comes to save Seon-Mi they find out how the Geumganggo works. Frustrated by his feelings for Seon-Mi, O-Gong tries to reason with himself and plans on having Seon-Mi take off his bracelet. Elsewhere we see the missing dead girl comes to life and make her way towards Seon- Mi.
Devil King and Seon-Mi sign a contract for the help he gave her and will give her as long as she hunts down evil spirits and he gets the credit to become a deity. O-gong brings the Zombie home causing more friction between him and Devil King. He lets Richie stay in order for her to find out her identity. Seon-Mi starts to hunt down a spirit while in search for Richies past.
Devil King is going to be honored with an award after donating a film at the museum where items donated have spirits attached from their previous owner. One of them is a vicious Japanese girl who disappears into Devil Kings film. Ma lets the Devil King know and he enlists the help of Seon-Mi over the objections of O-Gong. They go into the film to find out the spirits secrets but in the process we also learn a little more about the Devil King's past.
In 2017, Son Oh Gong and Ma Wang are in conflict with each other and they look for a true light in a dark world where evils exists everywhere.
