A business leader dies dramatically at his own party, which is the launch of a foundation in his dead daughter's name. Alexander and Valpen (Puppy) are assigned the case and their new boss Rakel calls in Nora as prosecutor. Alexander and Nora haven't had any contact since Nora's betrayal.
One of the suspects is kidnapped and the case takes a new turn. Nora digs further at the behest of new police chief Rakel, who clearly sets the agenda. Nora and Alexander both feel lonely, but in different places. Valpen (Puppy) does what he can for his colleague.
New police chief Rakel and Nora have become friends. Rakel's son accidentally kills a man he owes money to. Rakel tries to help her son cover up the murder and does everything in her power to stop the investigation
Nora and Alexander's date doesn't go at all as planned and now they are once again far apart. Alexander and Valpen continue their investigation despite Rakel's attempts to interrupt.
A robbery goes wrong and turns into an involuntary kidnapping when the robbers steal a boat with the owner's little girl left in the boat. Alexander and Valpen are first on the scene but are unable to stop them.
