Production is starting on the new Super Proof film, The Masquerade, their most ambitious project yet, but the arrival of Sean Pettit's 55-year-old party animal father, The Groovemeister, is an unexpected wild card to deal with.
With Sean's ankle feeling good as new, the Pettits pack up and head to the BC interior. Groovemeister, still on the hunt for a sport to turn pro in, considers the possibility of a professional no-boarding career. After some brotherly competition at the GT Memorial Race, Sean chases the snow overseas to Shimimaki, Japan.
The snow continues to dump in Japan as Sean, Mark Abma and Joe Schuster head from the back-country of Shimamaki to resort living in Niseko. The crew wastes no time diving into everything the Japanese culture has to offer. The Ja-pow doesn't disappoint as the Superproof crew hits the mountain and continues grabbing shots for their upcoming film.

Sean Pettit and the Superproof team kick off their ski season in Whistler, BC. Coming off of an ankle injury last winter, Pettit is eager to get his skis back on the snow. The winter might be off to a slow start, but not Sean. Besides filming Superproof's latest film, The Masquerade, there's a full house at the Pettit Palace - Including their newest roommate, The Groovemeister, back in town turning 55 - and turning pro.
