After serving time for arson against his burned garage business, Bob gets a proposition from the Chamber of Commerce president to purchase a local rundown motel.
Pushed by the Chamber of Commerce president, Bob is renovating his new motel with his crew. Bob's brother, Rodger, advises him to consult a female psychologist to help him forget about Maggy.
Bob and his motel crew are intimidated by two members of a biker gang in order to pay some protection insurance.
Bob is on a breakdown due to his heartbreak. As per a TV ad in order to boost his spirit, he applies for a "big brother" association for child sponsorship.
