Kathy Griffin hires A-List designer Kenny Davis to remodel her Hollywood Hills home. Meanwhile, Kathy's mom, Maggie, is living large and is tapped to write a book. Kathy has a surprise announcement: Team Griffin will be guest judges at the upcoming California Gold Coast Toddler Pageant. During the competition, Kathy stirs the pot and deadlocks the judging in a "closed door" session. When it's time to hand out crowns Kathy rewards a few of the girls with her own special categories.

Wanting to get some expert advice for creating a fashion line, inspired by Maggie, Kathy calls on budding designer Lauren Conrad for help.
