Across three small, North American towns, three completely different people are tormented by child ghosts who are trapped in their homes.
Nestled in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains lies Bellaire, Ohio, a quaint and picturesque village along the Ohio River. Beneath its serene and modest exterior, Bellaire harbors a history marked by bloodshed and tragedy, from colonial warfare to devastating mining disasters and mass casualties. Kristin Lee has lived in Bellaire for nearly 20 years. The Ross siblings, Rick and Cindy, are born and raised in the riverside village, but only recently have they discovered their properties share a powerful paranormal connection.
On the surface, Strathroy seems to be a charming farming community with a distinctive downtown and beautiful Victorian homes. Yet, a closer examination of its history uncovers a town scarred with death and devastation. This dark history has inadvertently sparked a rise in paranormal activity, posing a looming threat to Strathroy and its residents. Karl Olsen has lived in Strathroy since he was 18-years-old, purchasing his century home on Frank Street in his early 20s. Barb Dexter moved into her Strathroy residence with her husband, Terry, over 20 years ago. Little did any of these unsuspecting small town folk realize they were inviting an endless loop of paranormal activity into their lives.

Deaths in the mines from explosions or collapses were a daily occurrence - and it was often impossible to retrieve the bodies. There are several old cemeteries in the area....but the land itself is a graveyard.

Clayton, North Carolina, embodies American charm and community spirit, yet it harbors a haunting past from its pivotal role in the Civil War. Meanwhile, Octagon Hall in Franklin, Kentucky, built in 1847, shelters spirits of Confederate soldiers who perished there. In Columbia, Pennsylvania, the Historical Society unwittingly invites malevolent spirits while preserving its forgotten history.
