With Abby gone for six months, Don wants a stripper to move into the spare room, but Eddie insists on a mature student he met. So they take the two girls out to an 80's themed restaurant called the 'Nineteen Eaties' to test which one is suitable.
Don starts dating an older woman but can't handle the grown up world she lives in. Meanwhile, Sam has befriended a guy from university who Don catches rifling through her underwear drawer.
Samantha's dating a cool singer-songwriter called Jackson. When Jackson invites Don to play at his open mic night, much to Sam's dismay, an instant rivalry begins between the two singers.
Samantha's brother comes to stay for the weekend and, after a night of drinking with the housemates, he gets into bed with Don. Once his initial shock has passed, Don realizes he might be gayer than he thinks.
Don joins a gym to prove to Sam and Eddie that he's fit and healthy, but he fails to get beyond the running machine without passing out. He soon gives up on the gym and decides to go for a colonic irrigation, instead, where he ends up agreeing to go on a date with the therapist.
This series revolves around a neurotic twenty-nine year old man named Don. As he tries to make his way through life, his overactive mind and inappropriate behavior is always getting him into trouble.
