An Italian policeman is killed while hunting down a drug dealer. His soul detaches from his human body and he is able to see images of the near future. Those visions make him decide stay and not to open the afterlife door: "La Porta Rossa".
Cagliostro is trying to deliver a message to his ex-wife, Anna, with the help of Vanessa, the only person who can really see and hear him.
Cagliostro asks Vanessa for help to find an important clue which might lead to the person who killed him.
Anna discovers that her ex husband -Scaglione- rented an unofficial private archive (storage room) where all the records from a former investigation had been stored. Vanessa is trying to find out information about her mother's death.
Some clues lead Anna to a striptease club where Cagliostro used to go. Vanessa goes to the asylum where her mother is at. The killer tricks everybody by incriminating one of the main characters.
Leonardo Cagliostro, a policeman, dies and decides to stay on Earth in order to find out more about the circumstances of his death and to save his wife, Anna, who's in danger.
