Joanna Chylka is a renowned, uncompromising and rebellious lawyer in a legal world full of men who don't give in to anything. A close friend's three-year-old daughter disappears without a trace and the police find no evidence of kidnapping, the parents become the main suspects.
More evidence points at Dawid. It turns out that on the night of the disappearance, the alarm in the Szlezyngers house was turned on very early.
The Szlezyngers sit on the accused bench at trial. After a quarrel, Chylka ensures Angelika that her clients' innocence doesn't matter to her.
Joanna is having an operation and Zordon convinces the firm that he can replace her himself at the trial. Will partners trust the new apprentice?
Kosmowski convinces Angelika to give up Chylka's services. After a confrontation with Kosmowski, the lawyer signs off from the hospital.
