Episodes
The body of a pharmacist appears down on a cliff after he left the house terrified as if someone was chasing him. The deceased's sons had a good relationship with him but a former employee reveals that he had a dispute with his son.
A little girl digs up a hand on the beach in Travemünde. It belongs to the body of Björn Aufderheide, who had spent the weekend with his bowling club at the Strandidylle Hotel. Finn Kiesewetter and Sandra Schwartenbeck learn that the victim wasn't particularly popular. However, various members of the bowling club had a vested interest in getting on his good side and thus had a motive to get rid of him. The Westerbeck couple, who were there with their hyperactive son Ole, seem to have secrets. Aufderheide, who owned quite a bit of land, designated them as his heirs. Why? Farmer and alcoholic Rüdiger Ziesemer, also a member of the bowling club, signed over his heavily indebted farm to Aufderheide in order to obtain a loan from him. Wouldn't he also have a reason to get rid of the unpleasant bowling buddy? Detective Inspector Englen has received a letter from his wife Stefanie. She has a new boyfriend. His nerves are frayed, and he's seeking closeness to his ex, Elke Rasmussen. Finn's aunts Ria and Toni have decided to close the tea shop and move apart. It's a good thing that Finn is now moving into the Fischerkate. Sandra is also currently dealing with a personal matter: She and her fiancé Holger are building a house. At the moment, she's very unhappy with the building authority because of this.
A corpse in pieces is keeping the Lübeck police busy. First, a seagull drops a finger into a tourist's beer glass, and then a dead woman with missing fingers is recovered from the banks of the Trave River. According to pathologist Strahl, the body had been lying in the water for at least two days. Initially, the dead woman's identity was difficult to determine. Her wedding ring finally puts investigators on the right track. She worked as a tour guide in Lübeck, is married to a carpenter, and has a 19-year-old son. Who had an interest in killing the woman? Perhaps the somewhat eccentric tour guide Lenker or her jealous husband, who, however, has a solid alibi? Things aren't going well at Finn Kiesewetter and Elke Rasmussen's house: Finn's ex-girlfriend Susanne from Uckermark has announced her visit. Unfortunately, Finn forgot to tell Elke. Elke then tries to make Finn jealous with her ex-husband Lars Englen. He immediately misunderstands this and hopes for a renewed rapprochement with her. To make matters worse, Aunt Ria is arrested for releasing 3,000 minks during a nighttime animal protection operation. Finn organizes a first meeting between his two aunts, who haven't spoken to each other since leaving the tea shop. His plan works, and they reconcile.
A distraught Dr. Alexander Henglooten reports to the police. He ran over Ute Schorn, his son Thorben's caregiver. He drove away in a panic, but then turned around to help the injured woman - only for the woman he had hit to suddenly disappear. A frantic search begins. The only witness is Henglooten's son, who suffers from Asperger's syndrome and has difficulty helping investigators. This requires a lot of imagination. The investigation reveals that the missing woman also worked as a prostitute. She was acutely worried that she would have to vacate her farm because of a construction project. Will the investigators find the victim, who lost a lot of blood at the scene of the accident, in time? Or is Ute Schorn already dead? While Elke Rasmussen is in the shower, Finn Kiesewetter answers her cell phone. He is confused by the message: The rings are ready. What does that mean? Colleague Schröter is excited because he's finally going to get his long-awaited allotment plot. The only thing he's missing is a letter of recommendation from his employer. He pesters all his colleagues with this until Ernst finally agrees to issue him one-with unforeseen consequences for Schröter.
In front of a famous Lübeck restaurant and in broad daylight, a boy dressed as a gangster shoots and wounds a man. Later, when Finn Kiesewetter and Sandra Schwartenbeck arrive at the crime scene and find out, they immediately organize a search for the boy. Eventually, this leads them to the St. Gertrud orphanage, where Flori, the young shooter, lives.
Finn Kiesewetter had left the police force to convert to an organic farm. But after a fire destroyed it, Finn found himself ruined and forced to return to law enforcement.
