The award-winning real life soap returns for its eighteenth series, following the Essex gang on a group jaunt to Mallorca. Megan and Pete are still in their honeymoon period, but it is clear not everyone wishes the happy couple well, especially Chloe L, who remains adamant that Megan has been up to no good. After yet another acrimonious split, Arg finally gets his moment with Lydia, but is she willing to forgive and forget? Dan and Kate have also split, but will they be able to keep things civil? As Bobby approaches 30, he decides to spend his holiday broadening his cultural horizons.
