Four couples chosen by the viewers from the past five seasons are set the toughest renovation challenge that they have ever faced when they are given just six weeks to make over four heritage listed homes in one of the best streets of the Sydney suburb of Bondi, where The Block began 10 years before.

Scott Cam and Shelley Craft host this reality television series that sees four or five couples with a prior relationship renovating apartment blocks or houses. The homes or apartments are then sold at auction, with each couple keeping any profit made above a set reserve price and the couple with the highest profit winning a A$100,000 prize. The first three seasons were filmed in Sydney, before the series moved to Melbourne, Victoria for future seasons.
