A young Spanish-Finnish couple is found murdered in cold blood in the Oulu region. Hilkka Mäntymäki (Riitta Havukainen) and the "new sheriff in town" Jami Kalliola (Juho Kuusamo) start investigating the case.
Hilkka's team is reinforced by Luisa Salinas (María Romero), flown in from Spain. The investigation leads the police to a transport company specializing in the waste business. One by one, Andrés Villanueva angers his loved ones.
