Episodes
Julie and the Phantom's choreographer and director Paul Becker is creating the choreography for the dance number during Caleb's song "The Other Side of Hollywood" in the Hollywood Ghost Club. Paul is rehearsing this dance with his crew which consists of a ton of other professional dancers.
Charlie Gillespie and Madison Reyes are practising their dance duet for Julie's dream sequence with Luke during "Perfect Harmony". They decided to meet on their own, off set, at an ice-skating rink to further practise and perfect their dance together.
A shot for shot comparison of the rehearsals to the final edit for the musical number "I Got the Music". There are noticeable differences between the two, notably that Madison Reyes is often replaced for the role of Julie by a dance double. This is because Madison was either not present on set or shooting another scene at the time, which is likely due to the fact that she is a minor and is only allowed to work so many hours a week.
A rehearsal of the dance break that is supposed to go down when Flynn comes in rapping on "I Got the Music". The choreography is being build on professional dancers with Victoria Caro taking on the part of Flynn, and so there is no cast involved yet in this stage of the process.
Charlie Gillespie, Jeremy Shada and Owen Joyner are rehearsing their solos for when Luke, Reggie and Alex poof in with their guitar, bass and drums during "You Got Nothing to Lose". They came up with their own instrumental solos, and so they are fine-tuning what they want it to sound like.
Behind the scenes videos from the Netflix show "Julie and the Phantoms". These videos consist of preparations, rehearsals and filming for the acting, dancing, musical and vocal performances in the show. Apart from the technical side, there are also videos showing the personal relationships the cast and crew have with one another.
