Badou discovers his love of dance but gets cold feet before a Palace recital when he thinks his friends will make fun of him.
Badou is determined to win the prize for "Funniest Memory" at Babar's Memory Party. When he discovers Crocodylus is passing off one of Gallop's memories as his own, Badou risks the contest in order to get slow-moving Gallop to the Palace in time to expose the cheating Ambassador.
To keep a Badou on-task to learn the Elephant's emergency trumpet signal - The Thunderclap - Pom takes Badou on a camping trip away from all distractions. When Sleek the Leopard comes prowling around, Badou must perfect the trumpet in a hurry to save his father.
Badou plans a relaxing balloon flight for his overworked grandfather but forgets to anchor the tether line. The two are swept away by the wind to crash in Sleek's part of the Jungle. Working together, Badou and Babar turn the broken balloon into a raft and sail home, causing Babar to remark about their grand adventure. Then, the monsoon rains have the kids going stir crazy until Badou takes them on an "imagination safari" through the Palace. The Crocs try to ruin things but Badou cleverly works their mischief into part of the game ensuring everyone has even more fun.
