Athanasia was born a princess of the Obelia Empire. A prophetic dream shows her a future where she is banished by her merciless father, Emperor Claude. From a very young age, Athanasia refuses to accept that future. To change her fate, she begins fighting it fiercely, using her intelligence and charm as weapons. Amidst all that, a maid is seen behaving rather suspiciously in the palace.
As part of her plan to escape her fate, Athanasia continues to gather valuables from around the palace. But the recent incident has prompted increased security and an inspection of all the rooms. Athanasia looks for somewhere safe to hide her treasures and finds a building that looks empty. It seems perfect, but when she goes to hide her treasures, she runs into the last person she wants to see.
Lilian and Athanasia are summoned to an audience with Claude where he informs them that he will oversee Athanasia's well being from now on. The last thing Athanasia wants is to attract his attention, but he insists on having tea together. He's always been so cold toward her. Why is he so interested now? Is it all part of the tragic fate she's trying to escape?
