It's a tale of two dinners at the Drummond Ranch -- one for the kids and one for the grownups. The kids are tucking into Baked Ziti, while Ree Drummond makes Rib-Eye Steaks With Cowboy Butter, Baked Potatoes with all the fixin's.
Ree Drummond's daughter's hosting a movie night and Ree's making a Roman-inspired menu to go with Julius Caesar. Supreme Pizza Lasagna, Julius Caesar Salad and Neopolitan Ice Cream are perfect before a tale of Roman intrigue.
Ree keeps it healthy by cooking lighter recipes and making time for exercise. On the menu: a low-carb lettuce burger; a carb-buster breakfast featuring poached eggs; a stir-fry, for lunch, made with butternut squash and kale; a smoothie.
Ree's brother visits and she makes Mexican hot chocolate with marshmallows for toasting over the fire. Also: a breakfast, dubbed "Eggbert's Sunrisers", served with orange mini-muffins.
Ree goes around the world with 16-minute meals, including a traditional curry soup of Indian origin; Thai beef with peppers; and, from Italy, chicken piccata and buttery lemon-parsley noodles.
