The ladies are back in the city for the fall, and Bethenny is excited to be living in a home that she loves, all while continuing to find balance between working, dating and dealing with the stress that accompanies a chaotic divorce. After a year of lovebird bliss, Carole and her boyfriend, Adam, are still going strong. Meanwhile, Ramona adjusts to newly single life and takes advantage of all that the Manhattan dating scene has to offer. With her daughter away at boarding school, Sonja experiences empty-nest syndrome and invites Luann to stay at her townhouse, presenting the perfect opportunity to socialize. Dorinda continues to grow in her relationship with John but finds herself constantly defending their relationship. And new housewife Julianne "Jules" Wainstein joins Bethenny and Dorinda for a brunch that goes from sweet to sour.
Bethenny begins planning a tailgate-chic BBQ birthday party to take place at her Hamptons home. Meanwhile, on the Upper East Side, Luann and Sonja bond over sparkling rosé and their desire to settle down. Dorinda visits Ramona's revamped post-Mario apartment and invites her to her lingerie party. Carole and Bethenny meet up to discuss Carole's relationship with Adam, as well as her ongoing drama with Luann. On the night of Dorinda's lingerie party, Bethenny confronts Dorinda about overselling John to the ladies, which opens the door for Ramona to reveal a shocking revelation surrounding John and Dorinda.
Chaos from the lingerie party continues as Dorinda confronts Ramona, shocking Jules, the newcomer to the group. The night heats up when John arrives at the party uninvited, ready for a showdown with Bethenny. As Bethenny and John go head to head, an embarrassed Dorinda decides it's time to ask John to leave. After the dramatic night, the ladies are excited for a relaxing weekend in the Hamptons to celebrate Bethenny's birthday, but everyone seems to have a different perspective on the situation that took place between John and Bethenny. Dorinda agrees to go to dinner with Bethenny and Ramona in the Hamptons to clear the air, but it's unclear if fences can be mended.
The ladies continue their fun weekend in the Hamptons, and Dorinda preps John to apologize to Bethenny. The ladies begin to arrive at Bethenny's house ready to party, but Bethenny avoids John and his attempts to apologize, making everyone uncomfortable. Although Carole doesn't want to engage Luann, Luann pursues her until she relents, and they decide to hash out their issues. When Bethenny finally decides to hear John out, it escalates into another confrontation, but seeing Dorinda upset, Bethenny decides to extend an olive branch to him. The next day, Jules decides to hosts a brunch, but when Bethenny gives her unwanted opinion on the state of Jules and Michael's unfinished home, she confirms Jules's unfavorable impression of her.
Jules airs her grievances to Dorinda and Carole concerning Bethenny's abrasiveness during the Hamptons trip. Bethenny gains a newfound respect for Jules when Jules opens up about a personal struggle. Meanwhile, Ramona finally tells Sonja why she has avoided spending time with her. Then, Ramona hosts an eventful birthday lunch where Luann makes a re-gifting faux pas, Bethenny confronts Luann about her behavior over the summer, and Dorinda delivers a double-edged toast.
