During a one-hour special edition of The Bachelor entitled The Bachelor: Countdown to Nick, viewers will get a more in-depth look at our newest Bachelor, the controversial fan-favorite Nick Viall. Bachelor Nation weighs in on Nick's latest attempt to find love and get a personal look at a few of the 30 amazing bachelorettes who will try to capture the final rose, as well as some of the most memorable "Night One" arrivals in Bachelor history.
A trio of popular former Bachelors - Sean Lowe, Chris Soules and Ben Higgins -offer their support and encouragement to Nick, who will face all new pressures and responsibilities on the highly anticipated 21st season premiere.
As Nick continues his search for love with the 22 remaining beautiful bachelorettes, Liz is particularly anxious: she is keeping a tumultuous secret about her romantic past with the Bachelor. When Nick learns that his secret is starting to come out and he has to make some drastic, stunning decisions to save his major opportunity to find love. Twelve other women are excited to dress up for their own wedding photo shoot with their "groom," Nick, and six women get to act out a dramatic and sometimes funny "break-up" with Nick at Los Angeles' Museum of Broken Relationships.
After Nick reveals his past with Liz, he's anxious some of the women will leave. Three women question why they were sent home and The Backstreet Boys visit the Bachelor Mansion.

The remaining bachelorettes are headed to Nick's hometown of Waukesha, Wisconsin, to get a close-up look at where he grew up. One hopeful bachelorette takes a stroll down memory lane with Nick, and they unexpectedly run into someone from his past. After weeks of tension, some of the bachelorettes have it out at the cocktail party- insults fly! Do they want to win Nick's heart or just win?
