Tired of June, Quint, and Dirk constantly arguing, Jack takes them to the mall in order to end their squabbling, only to learn that giant monsters and zombies aren't the only strange creatures that arrived when the apocalypse took place
The kids follow Thrull to the now monster-inhabited Joe's Pizza where they learn of how the apocalypse came to be. Jack neglects his friends when he is given full praise for Blarg's defeat.
Feeling like the useless member of the group for bestiary completion, Quint aims to prove himself while June becomes suspicious of the vanishing zombies.
