In the company of Chloé, who is still mourning Garrel, Commandant Rocher recovers from a gunshot at home, when the television informs about Adele's story, her sister, Camille, and the clues to arrest Argos. As Lydia Bazin, in jail for 15 years for children prostitution, appears as a new lead in the investigation, Adele joins forces with Rocher's team in the search of her sister. While Jessica Kancel informs Hyppolite she joins the police as Adjointe administrative, Elikia Masamba, a leading psychotrauma specialist, arrives to the station claiming he is Chloé's husband.
After the intervention at Argos' house, the police fence closes around him. Dr. Masamba, a prominent psychotrauma specialist, will deal with Camille. While Hyppolite and Emma investigate the house, a car attacks them and the team fears that Argos has started his revenge, so a special team is assigned to protect Adele and Camille. Chloé starts to consider Elikia's offer.
While the team struggles with Chloe's replacement, an overconfident criminologist with little actual experience and even less tract, it falls to Adele to unravel the disappearance of a young girl. Could the answer lie 30 years in the past?
Adele's first true investigation involves a killer in a horrible mask, popularized by a viral advertising campaign. The mask has been used in recent attacks, so the team will have to put on their best costumes to hunt the criminal clown.
Commandant Rocher is summoned to college following a fight involving his son Lucas, who was defending Eliott Baroin, one of his schoolmates, from a bully. An alarm goes off in the school when Eliott attempts suicide, but Rocher manages in extremis to prevent him from jumping from the roof of the college and brings him home to discover that his mother, Carine Baroin, 46, has been dead at his home for ten days. Eliott is the main suspect.
