A hopeful romantic navigates heart-wrenching choices, challenging trust and vulnerability as she seeks genuine love among competing suitors.
Episodes
Accomplished Texas attorney Rachel Lindsay takes a recess from the courtroom to start her search for happily ever after in the 13th edition of The Bachelorette. After opening herself up to finding love with Nick Viall last season on The Bachelor, this hopeful, down-to-earth woman will embark on her own journey to find her soul mate, meeting a record 31 bachelors who are all eager to win her heart and the final rose.
Rachel takes eight lucky guys to a backyard barbecue in Malibu where Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis help with a husband material obstacle course. Later, Rachel invites one bachelor to a Palm Springs dog festival; and 10 men spend the day with NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. At the cocktail party, an unwelcome guest crashes the event and asks to see Rachel.
When Rachel's duplicitous suitor, DeMario, confronts her and pleads for a second chance, will she be able to forgive and forget? The Bachelorette lets three men go at the rose ceremony, but two of them do not take the news gracefully and argue noisily outside the mansion after their ejection. Six of the remaining lucky men are off on a group date to The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Rachel takes one bachelor for a horseback ride down famed Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills for an unusual shopping spree. Alexis, Corinne, Jasmine and Raven surprise Rachel by setting up a mud wrestling competition between eight of the bachelors in front of a boisterous crowd with some surprising results. A heated argument erupts among the men who attempt to warn Rachel about one guy they are convinced is not there for the "right reasons."
The contentious cocktail party continues, as a frustrated Eric implores the rest of bachelors to stop talking about him to Rachel. While most of the men are perfectly content to skip the drama, one calculating guy, Lee, deceptively steals Rachel away from Kenny for a second conversation. The two bachelors' confrontation sets off a heated argument, totally distracting Rachel as she attempts to better acquaint herself with the other men. So she makes a decision that surprises all of the bachelors. After the rose ceremony, the remaining men leave the mansion to travel to beautiful, peaceful Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, where Rachel hopes to get a fresh start.
Kenny and Lee continue their compelling and impassioned confrontation during the spelling-bee group date after-party, but Rachel sends a message by what man she rewards the coveted group date rose. The oyster culture of Bluffton, South Carolina, provides Rachel and Jack Stone with a romantic backdrop for their one-on-one date that ends in a surprise. A distraught Bachelorette goes straight to her rose ceremony and while the past week has been tough for her, it has brought her clarity. The lucky remaining men will begin the international leg of their journey as they head off to picturesque Oslo, Norway.
A single bachelorette dates multiple men over several weeks, narrowing them down to hopefully find her true love.
