An adventurer named Emmet Cole who worked for the show named "The Undiscovered Country", went missing after 22 successful years. Show members persuaded his wife and son to go on the quest to find Emmet who were reluctant at first due to family problems. As Emmett went missing in the Amazon but they picked up his beacon signal and went after after him, they found some strange and supernatural powers influencing the abandoned and unidentified place called Boiuna. Furthermore, they found found out that Emmet is alive since he was speaking through one of the crew members and continued their quest.
When the spirit of Dr. Emmet Cole mysteriously enters Jahel, the message is clear: go home! Instead, Tess determines to go into the jungle to find clues to Cole's whereabouts. While on their mission, they discover a tree draped in children's dolls that they suspect is there to ward off the "spirit of the abandoned girl" who drowned in the river. Then, when a member of the crew goes missing, the group realize they'll have to endure a nightmare in order to appease an angry spirit and get their loved one back.
When the whole crew of the Magus goes blind due to spores from a tree, lone holdout AJ will have to overcome his most paralyzing fear to find a cure before the blindness becomes permanent. Meanwhile, the local Morcego tribe stalks the crew and judges whether they are worthy to stay in the jungle. If they are deemed unworthy, the consequences could be fatal.
As the search continues for Emmet and his crew, the Magus comes across one of Emmet's crew members who went missing alongside Emmet. They soon discover that he's been cursed and learn the mystical story behind the curse, which is now a matter of life and death. Lincoln faces a challenge when the rest of the crew want to leave their plagued colleague behind to continue the mission, and he must try to be their moral compass.
The Magus crew are run aground by another vessel, and soon learn that the seemingly welcoming crew members of a ship claiming to have come to their rescue have in fact a very different agenda, causing a dire, life-and-death situation. The crew also make a shocking discovery that will leave one of them in tears.
