Police inspector Anna Jass investigates when the body of a teenager is found in the forest. Zarzycki returns to become Kurier's editor-in-chief.
Jass begins to suspect the embankment didn't break by itself. Zarzycki wants to write an article about what happened in the forest after the war.
Jass and her partner arrest a man who might know more about the teen's death. Meanwhile, Wanycz tries to find the journalist who went missing.
The police decide to close the case of the dead teen, but Jass isn't satisfied with the result and her investigation leads to a retired militia officer.
