As the treacherous game show returns for a second series, Claudia Winkleman welcomes 22 strangers as they arrive at a beautiful castle located in the Scottish Highlands. Claudia secretly chooses who will be the Traitors among the faithful.
The game becomes very real for the Faithful as they learn who is the Traitors' 1st victim. They must all work together to succeed in the second Mission to build the prize pot. The players then head to the Round Table to vote who to banish.
As the players gather for breakfast, the second murder victim is revealed. Today's Mission leaves the contestants clutching at straws to learn more about each other. Rumours begin swirling round the castle ahead of the 2nd banishment.
After a jaw-dropping Round Table, things get complicated for the Traitors as Claudia delivers a shock twist. In the Mission, the players have a balancing act when they attempt to add more money to the prize pot. The Players banish again.
As the players reel from the revelations at the Round Table, the Traitors plot their next move. The contestants face their toughest Mission yet - with £10,000 at stake. At the Round Table, a brutal banishment leaves one player in tears.
Twenty-two strangers compete in a series of missions for a chance to win £120k. However, amongst the players lie the 'Traitors', who meet in secret and decide who to eliminate from their fellow players known as 'Faithfuls'.
