After Lee Rang's death, Lee Yeon receives the power of the nine-tailed fox again, on the condition that Lee Rang be reincarnated. An uninvited guest slips in during the lunar eclipse and steals the guardian stone.
Brothers Lee Yeon and Lee Rang go to 1930s Taluipa who orders them to find the Legendary Pipe. They board a train with Shinju planning an escape and a woman greeting Lee Yeon. An hourglass shows the approaching overpass.
A big rice chest covered in amulets appears before Moo-yeong, who carries a blindfolded girl ringing a bell. She removes her blindfold and meets Lee Yeon's eyes. He screams awake. Later, seeing Hong-joo with flowers his vision goes black.
A baby is found in a basket at Myoyeongak with 7 moles. The brothers try to leave the baby elsewhere but the basket returns. A thief in a red-white mask steals gold to find a relic that revives the dead.
Detectives confront Lee Yeon and Lee Rang over baby. A fight breaks out as Mi-ho plays in bubbles. In Manchuria Hong-joo finds drunk opium-addled Lee Yeon from 1938 who calls for Ah-eum. As Hong-joo turns to leave he hugs her from behind.
