The plot sets up a group of friends struggling individually- filtering what they tell each other. The closeness of their friendships come into question and trying to live with the decisions they made.
Secrets are kept as the group continues to engage with one another. Lauryn, Rene, and Jordan, as sister best friends are all at different points in their lives and moving further in different directions.
The plot takes a shocking twist as our beloved characters have their world shifted. Did what happened really happen? Was it a nightmare?
After the fallout of Rene's death, we figure out what has happened to Lauryn and how Jordan, David, and Jamal are moving forward.
The dust settles after Rene's death but Jordan won't let it die down. She still believes otherwise and will go through extreme lengths to prove her point. How will it effect her relationship with Jamal and David?
