When Samantha "Sam" Schulz gets dumped by her fiance, it sparks a realization in Dylan Silva that he should get over his own past breakup. Now that all four friends are single, including the level-headed Red Moon and the eccentric Shawn Waterbury, life has just become a lot more unpredictable.
Dylan pretends to be twins brothers on a double date in order to score with two beautiful twins. Shawn helps Sam get over her breakup all while Red is put up to a blind date by his mom with a girl he used to know. She looks great in her pictures, and is all around perfect, except for one deal-breaking flaw.
Dylan, Shawn, Red, and Sam head to the birthday party of Matt Rock, an old friend from high school. While Dylan wait for Amy to arrive, Shawn ticks off the wrong person, Red gets caught in a web of lies, and Sam reunites with a former flame.
Dylan is starting to get attached to Amy and decides to make their relationship official. Shawn meets the family of a girl he's seeing, Sam has a paper to write for class, and Red picks up a hobby long-forgotten.
