Grownups reveal how much they've forgotten since elementary school as they answer math, geography and social studies questions from grade school textbooks and are forced to ask real 5th graders for help when they don't know the correct a-n-s-w-e-r-s.

Adult contestants attempt to answer questions from the 5th grade curriculum, to try to prove that they are smarter than a 5th grader. If a contestant succeeds they may take home up to 500,000 dollars. There are 5th graders by the contestants side to lend them a hand if need be.
