After talking to Alexa, Daequan takes a good hard look at his past. Cheyenna shoots a new video for her followers -- much to the dismay of the Elites. Renate and Tayla have different attitudes regarding their families' disapproval of their relationship.
Daequan opens up about his mom at Rodney's family dinner, and Renate performs a piece about Tayla at a poetry slam. Cheyenna confronts Alexa about a rumor, making her question her loyalty to the Elites right before she shares a secret with Tessa.
Daequan and Raelynn's date finally arrives, and Alexa catches up with her mom over lunch. Dalton visits his friend Zane at the brewery to compare beer recipes as well as dating lives. Later, Alexa and Daequan take time to reflect on their past.
