SPOILER: Yan Shuren is a psychologist. He works in Private Sikang Hospital as a doctor. He had a dark past with a broken family and an unsuccessful relationship with her ex-girlfriend Sun Shu who is also a psychologist. Sun went to study in Japan after the death of her father. She stayed there for 8 years and she had a bad relationship with her mom Lin Zhifan who is a professor and also a doctor of chest surgery. After hearing the new of her mother in hospital as a patient, she has to go home. Meanwhile, Yan is treating a patient who is suffering from the family violence of her father. The latter seemed to be obstinate.
