It became evident that Qian Heng's harsh attitude was not just about pushing her out of the shared living space but also aiming to force her out of the law firm entirely. Unbeknownst to Cheng Yao, another partner at Junheng, Wu Jun, harbors a secret love for her sister, Cheng Xi, dating back to their student days. Wu Jun had covertly aided Cheng Yao in securing admission to Jun Heng, driven by his unrequited feelings for Cheng Xi, who had repeatedly rejected his attempts to bring her into the firm.
