Friends Min Jun and Jin Hwan spend a night together followed by a misunderstood phone call. The next day, Jin Hwan's behavior left Min Jun feeling deeply hurt, so he disappears without a trace. Eight years later, they are reunited.
Min Jun, who now has to face Jin Hwan regularly, finds himself unconsciously putting more effort into his outfits. During a brainstorming session for a concept meeting, the two share light conversation. Sparking memories of how they met.
While having drinks, the two talk about their shared history. Tensions grow, U Hyeok is mentioned, and it's revealed that he's only a best friend and is getting married to their female coworker. Min Jun is flustered and emotionally shaken.
Sleep deprived Min Jun has been swamped with the interns work for the new dating app the company is developing. Jin Hwan invites him to dinner once more, and this time drunken Min Joon cleared up some assumptions and apologized.
After drinking, Jin Hwan and Min Jun realize past misunderstandings. Min Jun feels they're incompatible and walks away, but stops when Jin Hwan calls him his first love. Jin Hwan suggests friendship that could grow into more.
