In the summer of 2007, 17-year-old Qingyu Qiao moved with her family from Shunyun to Huanzhou to start a new life.
Qingyu insisted that Beiyu died of appendicitis. Sheng Ming said that his father was the director of the hospital where Baiyu stayed in, implying that he could know the truth.
Qingyu Qiao and her family returned to Nanqiao Village to visit their grandparents. Qingyu looked for the traces that Baiyu Qiao left in the house, trying to know more about Baiyu.
