Da Rim, is losing her vision and the disease will lead to complete blindness soon if she does not receive an $800,000 injection treatment. During this hardship, she meets Gang Ju, a college classmate and the son of a wealthy family.
Da Rim's doctor has diagnosed that she will lose her sight if she doesn't undergo an $800,000 treatment. Unable to share the devastating news with her family, she hopes to win the lottery to cover the costs. Gang Ju reappears in her life, and their paths cross again, seemingly by fate.
Gang Ju and Da Rim argue, causing a minor accident. Da Rim reluctantly accepts Gang Ju's help to get to the dry cleaner. Tae Woong, who sees Da Rim as a sister, gets angry at Gang Ju. Meanwhile, Bong Hee visits the eye doctor.
Man Deuk and Gil Rye are lost on Mount Euak when they find Gil Soon digging a hole to bury a bag. They think it might contain a dead body, so they open it, only to be surprised by what they discover inside.
Da Rim's family fights over the $800,000 needed for her eye treatment. Feeling guilty, she drinks alone and realizes she can't afford it. She then calls Gang Ju for help.
Da Rim's family runs a struggling dry cleaners business. One day, she learns that she is going blind and there's a cure but it is expensive. Her family happens to find a lot of money and a man she had a fling with from her past resurfaces.
