Jin is an ordinary girl who works in a normal office with normal pay. Gil Yong is also an ordinary student who works part-time and goes to school. However, their lives suddenly go sideways, and it seems as if the whole universe is against them. Just when everything seems lost, a woman who claims to be a witch confronts Jin.
Jin gets her revenge as she wished, but she feels even more terrible than before. Meanwhile, Gil Yong needs to undergo four hours of mandatory therapy as he got into a fight at school. As if they are fated, Jin and Gil Yong keep running into each other, at the therapy center and even at the Witch's Diner.
A man on the brink of breaking down due to his mother's illness and the hardships of life stumbles into the Witch's Diner wielding a knife. As he demands money and food, Hee Ra walks in and turns the table. But before she lets him go, she offers him a one-time wish she promises to grant at a hefty price.
Sun Mi has been dating Sung Ho, her jobless boyfriend for seven years. She has been supporting him all those years and waiting for his proposal. However, Sung Ho decides to break up with her. Sun Mi desperately wants Sung Ho back. Feeling miserable, Sun Mi goes into The Witch's and hopes Hee Ra to grant her the wish.
Jin returns Tom Kim's fountain pen to him, and they start to get close. Later, Gil Yong, who finds out about him, becomes heartbroken. He also drops out of high school and decides to take the path less travelled. Meanwhile, the old landlady stops by in hopes of finding her son a wife and enjoys a bowl of noodles chosen by Jin.
This series tells the stories of desperate people who come by to eat a magical dish with the hopes of having their personal wishes granted, even at the expense of their own souls.
